FAQ’s

Orthodontics in Phoenix is also known as dentofacial orthopedics and is a special form of dentistry that focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of facial and dental abnormalities. Specifically, orthodontics focuses on correcting misaligned teeth and jaws.

An orthodontist is a dental professional who specializes in orthodontics in Peoria. On top of dental school, orthodontists have two to three more years of additional training and experience than a family dentist. An orthodontist can straighten teeth, correct improperly aligned bites, and improve the function and appearance of your smile.

If you want to maintain an excellent smile, then you should start considering orthodontics in Chandler as early as possible. Our team recommends that children first visit an orthodontist at the age of seven. However, you can begin seeing an orthodontist at any age.

When it comes to orthodontics near you, braces are perhaps the most well known treatment. Braces are used to help improve the feel and look of your smile. There are many types of braces to choose from, including metal, clear, ceramic, and more.

While any treatment that moves your teeth will cause some discomfort, braces do not often hurt, especially as much as many people believe. Your orthodontist will work with you to ensure your treatment goes as smoothly and comfortable as possible.
