WHEN IS THE RIGHT TIME FOR AN
ORTHODONTIC CHECK-UP? Age 7!
- Visiting an orthodontist starting at age 7 is important to identify problems affecting the normal growth and eruption of teeth.
- Early intervention (Phase I) means we can guide growth to make needed space.
- Phase I treatment makes the 2nd phase of treatment easier and can help eliminate the need for permanent tooth extractions.
*Not all children need Phase 1 treatment. The only way to know is to get them evaluated by an orthodontist. Please book a consultation to discuss your child’s specific needs.
