Just as with braces, the quality of your outcome largely depends on the expertise, skill, and attentiveness to detail of your practitioner. E&S Orthodontics is a certified Invisalign®️ provider, so you can rest assured you are getting the best treatment possible.

Orthodontists receive an additional 2-3 years of training beyond dental school to become experts in diagnosis and treatment of malocclusions to give their patients the most healthy, stable smiles.

Orthodontists will treat hundreds of people with different orthodontic concerns every year on top of their training. Dentists on the other hand may treat dozens of people with drilling and fillings. The experience and specialized training enables orthodontists to recognize and treat difficult situations that can arise during the treatment. They also have the knowledge required to create harmonious, beautiful smiles and facial profiles.

Get a second opinion! E&S Orthodontics has learned over many years of experience that almost everyone can be treated with Invisalign®️. In difficult cases, Invisalign®️ will be combined with braces on the teeth where needed. They are unlikely to be seen as the braces are usually either in the back of the mouth or on the bottom teeth. Usually, the braces are only required for a short time and Invisalign®️ alone will be used to complete the remaining treatment.

The average treatment time is estimated between 9-18 months. Depending on the complication of the orthodontic problem, the time can vary. E&S has experience treating hundreds of orthodontic cases. Hence, we can provide an estimated treatment duration after reviewing your individual case.

At E&S Orthodontics, Invisalign®️ costs the exact same as braces. There is no additional surcharge for Invisalign®️, unlike other offices. We do not want cost to be a factor in determining your preferred treatment. The cost for treatment is based on the complexity of the case, just like braces. Schedule a consultation with us if you want to learn more about how much your treatment may cost.

Definitely! Invisalign®️ is not limited to just adults. E&S Orthodontics has hundreds of teens who achieved fantastic results with Invisalign®️. In some cases, to achieve the best results, other orthodontic devices (eg. distalizers or expanders) are used with Invisalign®️. They are used discreetly prior to Invisalign®️ treatment. Some people experience a brief, transition period of difficulty with their speech. After a week of treatment, the tongue and lips will adapt to the aligners and your speech should be back to normal.

No! This is one of the benefits of Invisalign®️. You do not have to adjust your diet since you aligners are removable. There will be no poking wires or loose brackets either, meaning no additional appointments.

You can clean your aligners by brushing with dish soap and an old toothbrush. Avoid using toothpaste as it will leave scratches on your aligners. Do not boil your aligners! To keep your aligners fresh, you can use retainer or denture cleaning solutions. Retainer Brite is a cleaning solution we recommend, it will keep your aligners fresh and sparkling. It can be bought online.

When you get a new set of Invisalign®️ aligners, there can be soreness and discomfort. To ease the aches, Tylenol, Motrin, ibuprofen or any other over-the-counter pain medication can be taken. If you experience severe swelling or pain, please contact our office immediately at 602-900-9321.

Ensure you get dental cleanings at least bi-annually throughout your Invisalign®️ treatment. It is especially important to get your teeth cleaned as tartar buildup can refrain your teeth from moving, prolonging your treatment.

There are a variety of Android and iPhone apps to remind it is time to get new aligners. It will also send reminder notifications to wear your aligners. We recommend the app Align Remind.

For your teeth to properly move, your teeth must sit completely into your aligners. When you notice a gap between your aligner and the edge of your tooth, we recommend to bite on a chewie for a couple of seconds to close the gap. Repeat this each time you wear your aligner and notice any gaps between your teeth and the aligner.

Keep your aligners in their case when you are not wearing them. This will prevent you from throwing them away and any damage to your aligners.
